SW MI Relationship-Centered Care Network exists to support and enhance understanding and practices of relationship which can contribute to healing and to the optimal health of individuals, families, organizations and the community at large.

What is Relationship-centered care?

Relationship-centered care is at the heart of healing. It is health care that values and centers on the relationships that shape the context of care, including:

• health care professionals and patients;
• persons as they care for themselves and one another;
• health care professionals and the communities they serve;
• health care professionals work together across professions;
• health professions educators teching and learning with their students;
• health care administrators and managers as they shape the environment and resources for cares;
• individuals with concerns for health care relationship
